Chris R. "Rooster" Beller

March 8, 1981 — September 21, 2024

Christopher Ryan "Rooster" Beller, 43 of Lubbock formerly of Dalhart, went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 21, 2024 in Lubbock, TX. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 2:00pm Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Kurtis Abla, of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Chris was born on March 8, 1981 in Amarillo, TX to Joe and Ruth Beller. He was a truck driver, always finding a way to get in a truck and haul cattle all over the United States. His handle was "Rooster" and "Gator tator tator." You wouldn't know if it was Chris hauling down the road, unless you saw the top of his hat. He rode with style, seat leaned back, seat set as low as possible, looking between the steering wheel and dash, blazin' 80's classics. When he wasn't hauling, he would find himself whipping a meal up in the kitchen and posting his meal with a comment "Fat boyz gotta eat." His wild and western style was a unique sense of touch. He enjoyed dressing like a goof with jean shorts and a cut out t shirt with cowboy boots and his felt cowboy hat. He found solace in spending his time at the family farm or riding horses. He was always looking for a place to hang his hat and kick his boots off. Chris always had the biggest personality in the room (although stature was the opposite) and he was not afraid to let everyone know. He would remind everyone never forget to remind everyone to "Keep it under 100" and lived his life in the Hammer Lane. Chris was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Chris is survived by his parents, Joe and Ruth Beller, two brothers, Scott Beller of Lubbock and Andy Beller of Pampa, four daughters, Breanne McCollum (Kordell) of San Antonio, TX, Faith Beller and fiancé Brian of Dalhart, Chrissa Beller of Dalhart and Sarah Beller of Littlefield, two sons, Ryan and Christopher Beller both of Midland, and one grandson, Callum McCollum.
