Ronald Clifford Ainsworth, known to all who loved him as "Ron," was called to ride with Heaven's Angels on November 15, 2024, at the age of 60, after a tragic motorcycle accident. His passing leaves a hole in the hearts of his family and friends, but his legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will live on forever.
A celebration of Ron's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Dalhart Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home to remember and honor him, with Bobby Medford officiating the service. Ron will also lay in state at the funeral home from 8-10:00 AM on Friday morning. Ronald's Final Farewell has been entrusted to Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Born on August 8, 1964, in Hawthorne, California, to Ronald C. Ainsworth, Sr. and Sharon Stagnone, Ron spent most of his life on the West Coast. From an early age, he was drawn to the freedom of riding-starting with dirt bikes and quickly graduating to Harley-Davidsons, which became a true passion. Harleys were more than just bikes to Ron; they were a way of life. His love for the road never faded, and even though it was through riding that he left this world, he wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
In addition to his love for motorcycles, Ron had a knack for restoring old cars and trucks, but his pride and joy was a 1967 Chevy Pickup that he lovingly brought back to life. If you knew Ron, you knew how much he cared for that truck. He also had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoying fishing, boating, and shooting pool with friends. But above all, his greatest joy was his family.
Ron's heart was as big as his smile, and he was always willing to lend a hand or share a laugh. He had a soft spot for his fur babies: Loki and Baylie, his two loyal dogs, and Fudge, his feisty cat. But it was Monica who truly captured his heart. From the moment they met, Ron was hooked, and the two of them became inseparable. They married on June 8, 2019, in Dumas, Texas, and later made their home in Dalhart, where Ron worked as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Ron is survived by his true love: Monica of the home, his mother Sharon, children: Austin Ainsworth and wife Eliana, Cheyanne and partner Bernard Jones, and Carson Ainsworth, the mother of his children: Madison, four grandchildren, one sister Stacy Hewitson and wife Wendy all of California, and one stepson, Divan of Dalhart.
