Ruben Chaparro

Rubén Chaparro, 47 años de Dalhart, falleció el martes 28 de enero de 2025. Su misa fúnebre será a las 10 de la mañana el sábado 1 de febrero de 2025 en la iglesia católica San Antonio de Padua con el Padre Antonio celebrando. Seguirá el entierro en el cementerio Memorial Park. El señor Chaparro permanecerá en velatorio desde las 9 de la mañana hasta las 4 de la tarde del viernes en la funeraria. A continuación se rezará el Rosario a las 6 de la tarde en la iglesia. Los arreglos para el regreso a casa de Rubén se confían a Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Rubén nació en Chihuahua, México el 7 de junio de 1977. Creció ayudando y trabajando para su padre en el rancho familiar. Rubén conoció posteriormente al amor de su vida, Guadalupe, y se casaron el 28 de mayo de 1999. Poco tiempo después del nacimiento de su primer hijo, Rubén Jr., decidieron emprender una nueva aventura y se mudaron a los Estados Unidos en 2001. En 2005 Rubén y Guadalupe le dieron la bienvenida a su segundo hijo, Ricardo.

Rubén era un hombre trabajador y se aseguraba de que su familia nunca se quedara sin nada. Persiguió su amor por la agricultura trabajando como peón durante más de 20 años.

A Rubén le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y llevarlos de vacaciones. Siempre estaba listo para una nueva aventura y un nuevo lugar por descubrir. Le encantaba la tranquilidad de la montaña en verano, donde podía alejarse de todo y pasar tiempo de calidad con su familia.

Rubén era un hombre desinteresado y amoroso que siempre anteponía a los demás a sí mismo. Tenía una risa contagiosa que no se podía oír sin sonreír. Todos los que estaban cerca de él sabían cuánto los amaba y se preocupaba por ellos. Rubén siempre será recordado como un gran amigo pero sobre todo como un amoroso esposo y padre.

A Rubén le sobreviven su esposa Lupe Chaparro, dos hijos, Rubén Jr. y Ricardo, todos de Dalhart, TX. Su padre, Rubén Chaparro y una hermana, Imelda Chaparro.

A Rubén le precedió en la muerte su madre, Teresa Chaparro.

Ruben Chaparro, 47 of Dalhart, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. His Funeral Mass will be at 10 o’ clock in the morning on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Anthony celebrating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Chaparro will lie in state from 9 o’ clock in the morning until 4 o’ clock in the afternoon on Friday at the funeral home. This will be followed by a Rosary being recited at 6 o’ clock in the evening at the church. Ruben’s Home Going arrangements are entrusted to Dalhart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Ruben was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on June 7, 1977. He grew up helping and working for his dad on their family ranch. Ruben later met the love of his life, Guadalupe, and they were married on May 28, 1999. A short time after the birth of their first son, Ruben Jr., they decided to start a new adventure and moved to the United States in 2001. In 2005 Ruben and Guadalupe welcomed their second son, Ricardo.

Ruben was a hardworking man and made sure that his family never went without anything. He pursued his love for agriculture by working as a farmhand for over 20 years.

Ruben loved spending time with his family and taking them on vacations. He was always ready for a new adventure and a new place to discover. He loved the calmness of the mountains in the summer, where he could get away from everything and spend quality time with his family.

Ruben was a selfless, loving man who always put others before himself. He had an infectious laugh that you could not hear without smiling. Everyone close to him knew how much he loved and cared for them. Ruben will always be remembered as a great friend but above all a loving husband and father.

Ruben is survived by his wife Lupe Chaparro, two sons, Ruben Jr. and Ricardo all of Dalhart, TX. His father, Ruben Chaparro and one sister, Imelda Chaparro.

Ruben is preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Chaparro.
